The orient is a simple a-line dress. Inspired by the chinese rice fields and their curving lines, an original print was developed. Drawn by hand a placemnt print on the sides of the dress were placed and wrap around to the front of the dress.

 

A soft aqua green is placed behind the centre of the print and fades out to the edges of the print to be left white. Each placed print is embellished with beading and embroidery to create depth and interest in the print. Metallic and silver beads catch the light and create a shimmering effect. 

 

A small V Split in the high neckline continue the oriental feel of this garment. An organza hem is used to finish off the bottom of the dress and create a sheer layer at the base of this elegant dress.
